Lucy has been volunteering at Lifeline for a few months, a crisis and suicide prevention hotline. One day whilst taking calls in the Lifeline office, Lucy handles a call from a man who appears to be in distress. As she tries to talk him down as she’s been trained to do, her stomach begins to turn, something feels... off about this.
